This original Lombard trumeau cabinet, dating back to the 19th century and crafted from fine walnut and walnut burl, is a masterpiece of Northern Italian craftsmanship. The gracefully contoured body features an elegant trapezoidal shape topped with a broken pediment cornice, adding a refined sense of balance. The upper section is equipped with two burlwood doors containing four shelves divided into compartments, as well as a hooded door with three aligned drawers—ideal for neatly organizing small items. The lower section, characterized by a serpentine front and framed by corner pilasters, offers three drawers alongside a drop-front desk with a central door and a side compartment with a pull-out drawer underneath, perfect for storing documents or tools. The bracket feet provide both stability and a sense of lightness to the overall design. With imposing dimensions (140 cm wide, 60 cm deep, 265 cm high), upper section height 155 cm, lower section 110 cm, this piece of furniture combines functionality and classic style, making it a distinctive addition to prestigious interiors.
