Description
Pendant lamp Taraxacum, designed in the 60s by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni—two of the most iconic names in 20th-century Italian design. Crafted from metal and resin, this vintage suspension lamp perfectly embodies the experimental spirit of the Sixties: the organically shaped, lightweight diffuser is inspired by the form of a dandelion puff (hence the name Taraxacum, the botanical term for dandelion). It provides a warm, enveloping light, making it ideal for adding character and style to any interior space. This edition features a maximum height of 90 cm including the suspension, and displays natural signs of aging that do not affect either its aesthetics or functionality, serving as proof of its authenticity and historical value. Reference: G. Gramigna, Repertorio del design italiano 1950-2000, Allemandi, 2003, p. 84.
