Solo Red Cotton Corner Sofa by Antonio Citterio

Solo Sofa model designed by Antonio Citterio and produced by B&B Italia, featuring upholstery from the Maxalto collection. Designed in 2014, this modular corner system (246 × 236 cm) consists of two seating units and a matching ottoman. The textured cotton upholstery in vibrant red gives the sofa a strong visual identity, enhanced by a refined, tactile texture. The set includes five feather-filled cushions with contrasting red mélange wool covers. The frame is made of tubular and profiled steel, with cold-molded Bayfit polyurethane foam padding and a polyester fiber lining. The legs are made of brushed chrome-finished die-cast aluminum, adding lightness and a contemporary touch. The ottoman (96 × 96 × H34 cm) matches the sofa’s construction features, offering a comfortable and versatile extension to the seating. The sofa is in excellent overall condition. It has been used in trade show settings and photo shoots, showing minimal signs of use: slight pilling on some areas of the fabric and small superficial scratches on the aluminum frame caused by moving, which are barely visible and not structural.
