Description

Silver cake or fish server by Lamy & Lacroix, France, estimated period between 1850 and 1890. This vintage piece, crafted by the Parisian company Lamy & Lacroix, is an exquisite example of Victorian silverware in Rococo style, featuring engraved floral motifs. The hallmark on the back displays the initials L&L under a crown, with two stamps: a rectangular one indicating the handle is silver-plated, and an oval one confirming the server is made of solid silver. Made from high-quality silver, this server combines elegance and functionality: the finely crafted handle ensures a comfortable grip, while the decorative floral details enhance the object’s sophistication. Weighing 200 g with a shiny finish, it is in excellent condition despite its age.
