Elegant set of 4 Hight Ingram 834 chairs, designed by renowned Scottish designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1910 and reissued in the 1980s as part of the MVSEVM – Great Masters of the 20th Century collection by Alivar. True icons of Scottish design associated with the Glasgow School, these chairs embody Mackintosh's signature geometric elegance and distinctive style. Made from open-pore black lacquered ash wood, they stand out for their slim and refined structure, offering both visual lightness and a strong aesthetic impact. The seats are finished with soft textured rust-colored cotton cushions—a warm, sophisticated dark orange shade that provides a pleasant contrast to the frame while ensuring good comfort. The chairs are in excellent structural condition, as are the cushions. There are only minimal and light marks on a few corners, negligible and consistent with very limited use. Always well cared for and protected, they remain overall in great condition, especially considering their approximately 40 years of age. Seat height: 46 cm.
