Description
Set of 4 chairs produced in the 1980s by Molteni, designed by Aldo Rossi. These chairs appear to be a reinterpretation of the iconic "superleggera" style, given their very lightweight build (they can be easily carried with one hand). They feature a unique, slightly forward-curved backrest, making them more comfortable and ideal for proper seating posture. For various reasons, they have never been used and, considering their age, are in almost perfect condition. All chairs are virtually free from visible marks; after thorough inspection, I found a small mark located under the seat of one chair. The black color is quite rare, as these are usually found in light wood tones. Reference: Giuliana Gramigna, Repertorio 1950-2000, Allemandi, Turin, 2003, p. 400.
