Description
Designed in the 1950s, the Sole Chair by Piero Fornasetti features a striking repeating sun motif (a transferred lithographic print). The seat is made of heat-bent birch plywood, finished in glossy white lacquer, and is supported by solid black beechwood legs. The chair is silkscreened, hand-painted, and hand-lacquered. As indicated on the backrest, this chair was made in 2001 and is individually numbered. This particular color variant is no longer in production, making it a rare collector’s item.
The chair is in excellent condition, with only a small mark on the left corner of the seat, as shown in the photos.
