Description
Set of four 1950s chairs by Ico Parisi, featuring an extremely detailed design and crafted with high-quality joinery. The frame is made of solid wood, hand-worked by craftsmen from Cantù, representing the finest Italian artisan tradition. The seats have been completely redone in accordance with the original project, with new padding, elastic bands, and upholstery. The new covering is made of genuine raw leather, especially resistant to daily use and stains. The chairs have undergone significant expert restoration, including long-lasting woodworm treatment and final waxing. There are several woodworm holes, visible and documented in the photographs, which showcase their history. However, the insects are no longer present thanks to the treatment performed; the main holes have been properly filled. Structurally solid, comfortable, and stable, these chairs are perfectly suited for everyday use, while retaining the authentic charm of 1950s Italian design.
