Lightweight wooden desk with drawers, an original prototype designed by Gio Ponti in the late 1970s and produced by Ponti Arredamenti in San Biagio di Mantova. Part of a complete bedroom set featuring unique mesh details and internal hangers, the desk is made of Silverblu laminated wood, a special shade of white personally developed by the architect. This color echoes the lines of the matching dresser drawers and is delicately combined with light grey accents. The desk surfaces are finished with thin pink and purple stripes, which from a distance create a blue optical effect, giving the piece a unique chromatic appeal.
