Description
The pressed glass vase by Jiří Zejmon was designed in 1969. Specifically, this model, often known by the number 472/20, was created for the Rosice glassworks, part of Sklo Union, that very year. Jiří Zejmon was a renowned Czech glass designer, celebrated for his work with pressed glass. He was the chief artist in the glassworks department. He is considered one of the first designers to promote a new concept of pressed glass, known for its brutalist or Czech modernist design, which was popular in the 1960s and 1970s.
