The Do-Maru armchair is a refined example of contemporary design inspired by Japanese tradition: its name recalls the ancient samurai armor, made with rigid protective plates that wrapped around the warrior’s body. This concept translates into a seat with a strong sculptural character, conceived as a truly iconic piece of furniture. The shell consists of a double overlapping shell, made more comfortable by two inner cushions upholstered in leather, ensuring both comfort and elegance. The rear support, in cast aluminum, emphasizes the armchair’s conical line with a bold and distinctive touch, while the front support in metal tubing, with coordinated finishes, completes the structure with aesthetic balance and solidity. The leather is in excellent condition, with only small spots visible in the photos, while the armchair has slight signs of wear on the back of the legs and the left front foot shows some wear—details consistent with age that do not compromise the structure or functionality.
