The diffuser is crafted using the ancient technique of caged blown glass: the glass bubble is mouth-blown inside a metal cage, which partially contains its expansion, creating an effect of dynamic tension. The cage is further enhanced with a galvanic treatment, giving it shine and brilliance. In the transparent version, the double-layer structure delivers a multiplied scenic effect, while the metal weave casts a kaleidoscopic play of shadows onto surrounding surfaces.
