Description
Mid-century Italian designer chandelier from the 1960s/early 1970s, expertly handcrafted with high-quality materials. The multi-level modular structure is made of brass-finished metal and is adorned with numerous oval frosted glass plates (5.5x9 cm), typical of Venetian and Murano glasswork from that era, attached with iron wires. The cascading arrangement of the glass plates creates a dramatic and refined lighting effect, making it ideal for living rooms, foyers, boutiques, or hotels. The largest ring has a diameter of 54 cm, and the total height is approximately 50 cm. The chandelier is in excellent overall condition; during disassembly, one glass plate broke, which can be easily replicated or replaced by a specialized glassmaker. The structure is intact and the electrical system is fully functional, featuring a central cylinder with 12 bulb sockets that provide broad, even illumination. Light is beautifully diffused through the frosted glass plates, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. An iconic piece of design, perfect for anyone seeking a striking mid-century chandelier with significant visual appeal and historical value.
