Description
Minibar Velox for cars, a historic electric espresso coffee maker produced in the 1970s, is one of the first examples of a portable Made in Italy coffee machine designed for use on the go. This model is part of the renowned production of Velox, a company founded in Ferrara in the 1950s during the Economic Boom, with the aim of combining technical innovation and Italian craftsmanship. Initially designed by Paolo Malagò, the machine was conceived as a travel moka pot with universal voltage 120/220V. Later, a 12-Volt version was developed, called Autobar, made specifically for use in cars, campers, and trucks thanks to its cigarette lighter adapter. The Minibar Velox series (R) stands out for its distinctive PANTONE Orange 021U lobster color, typical of 1970s design. The product was offered as a complete service set for two people, including the electric coffee maker, power cord, two spoons, two branded cups, user manual, and warranty card, all stored in carefully designed and detailed packaging. This item is unused, preserved in its original packaging, which shows only minor wear consistent with its age.
