Low Tornado Harvest Vase (1980s)

Vintage Artistic Vase “Tornado”, Vendemmia model produced by Kosta Boda and designed in 1983 by Bertil Vallien. This piece belongs to the prestigious “The Artist Collection,” a project created by Vallien to enhance the creative freedom of glass artists and go beyond the logic of serial production. It is a limited edition item, handcrafted entirely by high-temperature glassblowing, giving each vase unique characteristics. The vase features a dynamic composition of multicolored geometric shapes, with an iridescent finish reminiscent of the “oil on water” effect, in shades of gold, pink, green, and blue. The decoration includes millefiori elements and colored glass streaks, which accentuate its visual complexity and material depth. Signed and numbered, the piece is in excellent condition. Approximately 6 × 6 cm in height. A collectible item of significant artistic value, expressing Vallien’s experimental poetics and the excellence of contemporary Swedish glass.
