Description
Unique lamp crafted from an original Bay Keramik vase, model 96/30, designed by Bodo Mans in the 1960s–70s. This striking piece, in vibrant red, is part of a highly sought-after and now rare series, distinguished by three-dimensional reliefs reminiscent of stylized aquatic plants, organic lines, and bold graphic presence. The glossy glazing with dark accents highlights the raised texture, giving the vase an almost sculptural quality. The conversion into a lamp was carried out with great respect for the original object, with no damage to the ceramic. The plug-in solution is reversible and customizable, featuring a stable base thanks to weights, rod, and high-quality brass upper cover, with an elegant connection to the lampshade. The cord is classic, with a black E27 lamp holder compatible up to 120 V, subtle transparent fabric cable, and a transparent switch and plug. The Roomlight Studio lampshade, made from Japanese cotton fabric with a koi pattern, echoes the sinuous forms of the vase’s reliefs, creating a harmonious dialogue between ceramic and fabric. The warmly filtered light helps create a welcoming and captivating atmosphere. This is a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted piece, perfect as an accent lamp for a sideboard, console table, or as a striking design element in any room of the home. Dimensions: 25 cm diameter x 23 cm height.
