Description
The famous Danish functionalist architect Vilhelm Lauritzen designed the VL 45 Radiohus pendant lamp in the late 1930s as part of his work of art, Radiohuset (The Radio House), headquarters of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, inaugurated shortly after the end of World War II in 1945. Lauritzen designed the pendant lamp and all other lighting for Radiohuset in collaboration with Louis Poulsen. The pendant lamp was initially called the Office Lamp, featuring a glossy three-layer blown glass shade with untreated brass details. The design retains its excellent lighting capabilities and the quiet, luxurious appearance that fits perfectly with today’s contemporary interior design trends. No flaws or imperfections, and it comes with the original high-quality white fabric cable.
