Ameluna Pendant Light for Mercedes-Benz

Ameluna is a pendant lamp, born from the collaboration between Artemide and Mercedes-Benz, both renowned for their exclusive design and ability to create icons. Inspired by the bioluminescent creatures that inhabit the underwater world, Artemide and Mercedes-Benz have designed an asymmetrical, aerodynamic dome with a circular base that creates a dynamic, futuristic, and mysterious effect. Suspended by three ultra-thin wires, the fixture appears to float in the air. Ameluna combines beauty and intelligence with a fully transparent form that blends with dynamic lighting to create endless lighting scenarios. It is an interplay between pure shapes and a sensual asymmetrical volume that generates a highly emotional tension. The light is directed and partially refracted into the room through the transparent body. The unique look of the Artemide Ameluna is highlighted by the absence of a central light source: the 41W integrated LEDs are hidden in an aluminum strip—an invention patent—placed in the lower profile, thus preserving the purity of the shape. The light is reflected by a thin, injection-molded PMMA element and then diffused by a shaped PMMA ring with an opaline finish. Compatible with the ARTEMIDE APP.
