Description
Chair from the Fullerina collection, designed by Franco Poli for Matteograssi in 1994. This is the rare three-legged version, part of a limited series that also included a dining table and a four-legged chair. The structure is made of solid wood stained with open pores, while the seat is covered in high-quality leather. Poli's project stands out for its search for an essential structure, reduced to the bare minimum without compromising stability: a perfect match between form and function. The joints, a critical point for resistance and durability, are reduced to the essential and entrusted to the precision of the craftsmen and the vision of the designer. The result is an extraordinarily light object, excellent, never used except by time itself, carefully preserved in a protected environment.
