Frisbi pendant lamp by Achille Castiglioni

Frisbi chandelier by Flos, designed by Achille Castiglioni, 1978. The lamp was purchased in the early 1980s. The pendant lamp produces direct, diffused and reflected light. Diffuser plate in opal polymethylmethacrylate, attached to the body of the luminaire by three very thin steel wires. Pressed sheet metal reflector, polished, nickel-plated, painted glossy white internally. Wall connection and rosette in black injection-moulded ABS. The chrome reflector shows some signs of age and use, but nothing beyond that. It has no dents or knocks. The chandelier does not visually clutter the space it is called upon to illuminate, adapting in a functional way both to large spaces, such as those of a dining room or a living room, and to smaller spaces.
