Description
Fritz Hansen, Egg Chair designed in 1958 for the building of the Danish airline SAS the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen by the great Arne Jacobsen. Aluminum base, Silver Gray 170, mounted on a satin polished steel pedestal. The body is in expanded polyurethane with glass fiber reinforcement. The foam for the seat cover and cushion is cold-cured polyurethane foam. Covering in soft red Danish Kvadrat fabric, refined to the touch. The armchair was purchased in December 2007. As an iconic design object as furniture for a mountain house for family relaxation. Used very little in recent years, one weekend every month. It has a slight discolouration of the fabric on the front, visible only when you lift the cushion.
