EA 108 Black Leather Swivel Chair by Charles and Ray Eames

The Aluminium Chair is one of the greatest design pieces of the 20th century. To create it, the designer duo abandoned the traditional shell seat concept, instead stretching a panel of fabric or leather between two aluminum side elements to achieve a seat that is both taut and flexible. The chair adapts to the shape of the body and is extremely comfortable, even without complex padding. The EA 108 chair showcased here is an ICF production from the 1980s and is in excellent condition, with only minor signs of age. This is the swivel model, featuring a sturdy five-star base, polished aluminum armrests, and frame. The chair is upholstered in premium black leather, which has been cleaned, sanitized, and treated with professional leather care products to restore its appearance and softness.
