Half-Moon Wooden Dresser with Fine Inlay and Marble Top (1900s)

French half-moon chest of drawers, early 20th century, in refined Louis XVI style. This dresser is finely inlaid with precious woods including walnut, mahogany, maple, ebonized wood, and fruitwoods, enriched with elegant gilt and chiseled bronze and brass decorations. The chest features two large front drawers and a precious original marble top of high aesthetic quality. It stands on four solid legs, with the front ones enhanced by bronze feet. Complete with a working key for both drawers; one of the lock escutcheons was replaced during restoration. This piece of furniture is ideal for a bedroom or living room, distinguished by excellent decorative proportions and impressive visual presence. It boasts a beautiful patina and is in good condition, with slight signs of age consistent with its period, which enhance its authentic charm.
