Description
Cloud is a stunning collection of lamps designed by the renowned architect and designer Frank Gehry in 2005 and produced by Belux. Each lamp is unique, even though all the lamps have the same structure and predetermined shape. The concept is that the flexible lampshade structure, which is more or less accidentally shaped during production, can be altered by expanding or pressing it. In this way, Gehry turns users into co-designers who can repeatedly change the lamp’s shape as they wish.
The lamp shows signs of age; the sheets that make up the lamp have darkened, and two out of the four bulbs are missing.
