Description
Icon of modern design, the LC4 chaise longue is a masterpiece designed in 1929 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, conceived to offer maximum comfort following the lines of the body. This model, produced by MDF Italia (a historic Cassina subcontractor), was made of very soft white hammered leather, with a cradle structure in chromed Mannesmann tubular and an H-shaped base in black metal, with black elastic straps. A rare collector's item, belonging to the series "Grandi Maestri del Design del '900" and present in the MDF Italia catalogue on pages 59, 60 and 61 with code 1401. Excellent condition, like new. Used exclusively as furniture for an exhibition corner or photographic set for the company. Dimensions: L 60 cm × D 160 cm × H 65 cm - Seat height 40 cm
