Cesca

Cesca by Gavina is a light and comfortable chair designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928 with the name of chair B 32. Later he decided to change his name into Cesca by the name of his adopted daughter Francesca. It is a design icon with a very interesting story. Gavina is an Italian company founded by Dino Gavina in 1960 and whose president was architect Carlo Scarpa. Its historycal headquarter was in San Lazzaro di Savena, in a building designed by Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1959.
