Description
The early 20th century tea/coffee service was produced by the Società Ceramica Bollate Lombarda, Made in Italy. Made of ceramic with pure gold thread, this service includes the milk jug and the sugar bowl, and is in excellent condition, never used. The porcelain is of high quality, typical of the production of Bollate Milanese. The company, active for a few years and located in via Cusani 11 in Milan, ceased production in the 30s, when it was absorbed by the Società Ceramica Italiana (SCI Laveno). Due to the short activity, its pieces are particularly rare and difficult to find.
