Brentano Glass Coffee Table by Emaf Progetti

Brentano coffee table designed by Emaf Progetti for Zanotta in 1982, a representative example of 1980s Italian design, characterized by a technical and essential style. The top is made of 15 mm thick beveled glass, while the frame consists of five black-painted 18/8 stainless steel legs with a diameter of 100 mm. The legs are removable and screwed to stainless steel bases welded directly to the glass—a construction solution that showcases meticulous design rigor. The dimensions are 115 cm in diameter and 40 cm in height. Three small flaws are reported on the glass edges, visible in the photos, which do not compromise the table’s stability or overall aesthetic impact. Emaf Progetti is a studio founded in 1982 by Aurelio Zanotta; since 1991, the activity has been developed by his successors, specializing in design, interior decoration, installations, and visual communication for leading companies in the sector. The studio’s projects have received international recognition and are part of the collections of several museums.
