Description
Invicta Typewriter Model No. 4, a standard typewriter produced between 1927 and 1929, features a sturdy structure with a black-painted cast iron frame resting on four circular rubber-coated feet. The keyboard consists of 44 round keys with a white background and plastic rim, while the space bar is made of black-painted metal. The 88 characters are mounted on typebars arranged in the typical semicircular type basket, with the two ink ribbon spools located on either side. The ribbon color selector control is positioned on the left side of the front panel. The machine is equipped with a tabulator and a carriage with a rubber-coated roller, complete with a return lever on the left side. There is an end-of-line warning bell at the back.
