Description
The 9629 console, part of the Apta series designed by Antonio Citterio for B&B Maxalto in 1996, is an iconic example of the sober and elegant design typical of the brand. Characterized by a supporting structure in nickel-plated painted steel, it has four drawers with handles carved into the front, a lower shelf under the chest of drawers and a mirror. The container and the shelf are made of wenge, a fine wood that gives warmth and refinement to the whole. The console was purchased and preserved without ever being used and is in excellent condition. The absence of a logo is consistent with the production of the time, when the uniqueness and recognizability of the B&B Maxalto design were guaranteed by catalogs and official documentation, as confirmed by the original flier supplied.
