Metropoli Lamp by Luceplan, model D20/56.3, is the largest version of the renowned collection and an icon of contemporary Italian design. Designed in 1992 by Alberto Meda, Paolo Rizzato, and Riccardo Sarfatti, this lamp received the prestigious ADI Compasso d’Oro award in Milan in 1994, confirming its status as one of the most significant projects in designer lighting. Distinguished by its unmistakable porthole shape, it features a white-painted aluminum frame and a convex prismatic glass diffuser, capable of offering uniform and elegant illumination. It can be installed as either a wall lamp or a ceiling light, and thanks to the glass diffuser, is especially recommended for indoor spaces, while an outdoor version with a polycarbonate diffuser is also available. The lamp is in excellent, like-new condition and uses three G24D-3 bulbs, not included.
