AM-AS Land Floor Lamp by Franco Albini, Franca Helg, Antonio Piva

Iconic lamp produced by Sirrah, dating back to around 1969 and attributed to Franco Albini and Franca Helg. This piece is a significant example of 1960s Italian design, characterized by an essential and functional style. The structure is made of chrome-plated metal, while the diffuser is opaline glass, designed to provide soft and even lighting typical of the design research of that era. The proportions are impressive yet slender, with a height of 157 cm, width of 36 cm, and depth of 43 cm, for a total weight of about 15 kg. The lamp fits perfectly within the tradition of Italian rationalist floor and reading lamps. It is in good overall condition, with minor wear consistent with its age and use, and is fully functional.
