Set of 4 High Back Chairs 834 High Ingram by Charles R. Mackintosh

Set of four Ingram 834 chairs, designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh in 1910 and reissued in the 1980s as part of the Museum – Great Masters of the 20th Century collection by Alivar. Timeless icons of Scottish design from the Glasgow School, these chairs showcase the geometric elegance and distinctive stylistic language of Mackintosh. Crafted from open-pore black lacquered ash wood, they feature a slender and elegant frame paired with high-quality beige-taupe cotton velvet cushions that are soft to the touch and ensure excellent seating comfort. The frame and cushions are in excellent condition, with only very minimal signs of use limited to some cushion edges, consistent with very light wear. Always well cared for and never covered, these chairs have preserved their beauty despite being around 40 years old. Seat height 46 cm. Condition: excellent, minimal use.
