Knoll is a US-based company renowned for its production of both home and office furniture, including chairs, tables, sofas, and various accessories. Its origins trace back to Germany, with Hans Knoll, born in 1914, who, inspired by the Bauhaus movement, decided to bring his contemporary furniture ideas to the USA. Teaming up with the visionary architect Florence Schust in 1938, they founded Knoll International, focusing on innovative and elegant furniture designs for both home and office spaces. Collaborations with renowned designers have resulted in iconic pieces such as the Tulip table by Saarineen and the Barcelona chair by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, showcased in museums.
