The Antibodi armchair, designed by Patricia Urquiola, is a work that combines fashion and design in a surprising fusion of aesthetics and functionality. Its unpadded structure is composed of a three-dimensional geometry that recalls the genesis of petals, coupled with polyurethane foam and sewn following the shape of a triangle. The upholstery, made of felt and doubled cloth, is fixed to a stainless steel frame and offers two distinct moods: one more unconventional and feminine with the petals facing upwards, the other more rigorous and quilted when they are facing downwards. The result is a seat that transcends its function, transforming into a textile sculpture of extraordinary elegance. The armchair is in excellent condition, with a few very small stains and two imperceptible scratches on the fabric, minimal details that do not compromise the beauty and charm of this iconic piece of design.
