Set of 6 Cesca chairs model B32 by MDF Italia (code 1001), designed by Marcel Lajos Breuer during his teaching period at the Bauhaus in Dessau. These icons of modernist design are in excellent condition, with no signs of use: they have been used exclusively in furniture fairs and carefully preserved. The cold-bent chromed steel frame, made of continuous Mannesmann-type tubular steel, guarantees resistance and lightness. The seat and backrest are in light beech wood with woven Vienna straw, a combination that unites elegance and comfort. Produced by MDF Italia before the acquisition by Holding Cassina in 2013, they were part of the "I Maestri del '900" series, with production headquarters in Colle di Val d'Elsa, and are published on pages 12 and 13 of the official MDF catalogue.
