Inspired by the innovative use of steel, Bertoia transformed a common material into a functional sculpture, creating a timeless masterpiece. These chairs, in particular, were used in an architect's studio in Milan. Knoll International reports that the branding was introduced on chairs starting in 2004, but the original label on the steel of these chairs has been lost.
