Paolo Parigi was born in 1936 in Borgo San Lorenzo (Florence) into a family of iron craftsmen. From childhood he showed an uncommon aptitude for drawing and manual activities. In 1964, alongside his father in his workshop, he began designing industrial and office furniture, giving life to Heron Parigi. The model 999 chair refers to the perforation present on the seat and backrest. The chairs are made of satin aluminum, which makes them very light and easy to handle. They are easily stackable. There are few pieces of this model in circulation. The chairs are in excellent condition, apart from some small signs of aging. One chair is missing the plastic gaskets which are purely aesthetic and easily replaceable. The model does not have a visible brand, but it is present on the brand's website and in the archive.
