Set of 5 plates from the 'Fantasia Italiana' series designed by Gio Ponti for a Ceramiche Franco Pozzi production in 1967. Made of ceramic with polychrome geometric decorations, they feature the production brand on the back. Characterized by essential geometric designs, these plates were presented for the first time at the 'Domus Formes Italiennes' exhibition in the Presences d'Italie show at the Galleries Lafayette in Paris in March 1967. In the Domus article dedicated to the event, they are described as follows: "they break away from the (ancient and modern) custom of the same and repeated decoration, and they entertain the table"
