Set Chaise longue and pouf Linea in blue felt by Francesco Rota

The Linea chaise longue with pouf, designed by Francesco Rota for Paola Lenti, is an icon of contemporary design, characterised by essential lines. Equipped with a backrest that can be adjusted to two positions in addition to the rest position, this seat stands out for its versatility and refinement. The upholstery is in soft felt in a blue finish, while the painted steel structure is completed by a spring system on elastic straps and plastic tips. The internal padding is made of non-deformable polyurethane foam with differentiated densities, with a fixed lining in polyester fibre and polyamide. The Linea chaise longue received an Honorable Mention at the Compasso d'Oro award in 2001, establishing itself as one of the first projects resulting from the collaboration between Francesco Rota and Paola Lenti, helping to make the brand known internationally. On the occasion of the company's 25th anniversary, it was re-proposed in a limited edition during the Milan Design Week 2023. The state of conservation is good, with discoloration and signs of use visible in the images, but overall very well kept as a design object.
