Outdoor folding rattan deck chair (30s)

The folding garden deckchair, of French manufacture and dating back to the 30s-40s, stands out for its originality. The structure is made of small logs, giving the piece a rustic and natural look, while the seat, backrest and armrests are made of rattan, decorated with colored stripes that add a touch of liveliness and charm. The backrest can be reclined in various positions, to ensure maximum comfort, and the footrest is removable, allowing for comfortable relaxation. Despite the signs of wear that testify to the passage of time, the chair is in excellent condition thanks to a cleaning and polishing intervention, which has maintained its ancient patina. Although ideal for decorative purposes, the chair is still perfectly usable, but it is advisable to avoid excessive use with too heavy loads to preserve its integrity. The dimensions are generous: maximum length with footrest 175 cm, height of the backrest adjustable between 68 and 92 cm, and the seat measures 50x50 cm with a height of 39 cm. When folded, its dimensions are 87x78x60 cm.
