Pezzato vase Parigi series in Murano glass by Fulvio Bianconi

The Murano glass vase I “pezzati” Parigi series, designed by the Italian designer Fulvio Bianconi and produced by Venini, is an icon of the 20th century. The colors that characterize this series (Paris) are red, sapphire, green and straw yellow. “I piebalds” were presented at the XXV Venice Biennale in 1950 where it achieved great success and became perhaps the most famous and representative of Bianconi's work. The assembly of the polychrome tiles is in fact variable and rigorously manual, making each vase a unique piece different from the other despite the repetition of shapes. Fulvio Bianconi was an Italian designer and graphic designer as well as a great glass designer for Venini; his works are sought after and collected all over the world. The vase is in excellent condition, has no defects and has a light patina due to age. The writing Venini 98 Fulvio Bianconi is engraved under the base. The vase also has a dedication to the previous owner which will not be shown for privacy. The photos are an integral part of the description.
