Space Age Eye Ball Bronze Lamp (60s)

Vintage metal lamp produced by the Italian company Veneta Lumi in the very early 60s, in a very rare bronze color. This piece, clearly inspired by the nascent Space Age style, represents one of the first Italian interpretations of a movement that would have influenced the design of the years to come. Fully adjustable 360 degrees, the lamp is a perfect combination of futuristic aesthetics and functionality, with an organic and futuristic silhouette that recalls the imagery of spaceships. The Space Age style - born in the context of the enthusiasm for the space race - is expressed here through smooth surfaces, curved lines and a design that looks to the future. Despite its age, the lamp is in excellent condition: only a light and almost imperceptible sign of wear on the base, an authentic sign of time that adds charm to the piece.
