Beschreibung
The Kazuki floor lamp by Kazuhide Takahama for Sirrah, dating back to the 70s-80s, is an elegant work of design with a metal structure and a white fabric diffuser. The ground support is made of chromed steel rod. The original fabric diffuser, which has some stains, has been preserved and is available together with a new diffuser with the same characteristics. The metal structure shows small rust spots on the footboard due to wear over time. Furthermore, one of the anchoring seats for the chromed steel rod supports lacks the original travel stop and the rod has been temporarily fixed with paper tape. The lamp is documented in several publications, including "Dino Gavina Ultrarazionale Ultramobile" (1998), "Dino Gavina, emblematic collections of modernity from 1950 to 1992" (1992) and "The adventure of design: Gavina" (1987). Sirrah, founded in Imola in 1968 and acquired by iGuzzini Illuminazione in 1994, is known for maintaining craftsmanship and attention to detail in its products, while evolving with the introduction of new materials thanks to the collaboration with Takahama in the 70s.
