The George Sofa, designed by Antonio Citterio in 2013, represents a synthesis of elegance and technical innovation. The internal structure is made of tubular steel and steel profiles, ensuring strength and durability. The padding of the sofa uses Bayfit® (Bayer®) flexible cold polyurethane foam, with a polyester fiber lining that ensures comfort and support. The cushions are filled with shaped polyurethane with different densities and polyester fiber, externally covered with a textured cotton fabric with a blue weave, giving a refined look and a pleasant sensation to the touch. The support structure of the base is in cast aluminum with a glossy brushed finish, which adds a touch of sophistication to the design. The sofa comes with three cushions, offering additional comfort and support.
