The Fauteuil Dossier Basculant is a famous armchair designed by Le Corbusier in collaboration with architects Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Presented at the Salon d'Automne in 1929 together with the furniture group “Equipement de l'habitation”, it represents a milestone in modernist design. Its innovative design is characterised by the use of chromed tubular steel, reflecting the industrial approach and modernist aesthetic typical of the first half of the twentieth century.
