Beschreibung
The object no longer in production has never been used and is sold in excellent condition, and in a single original vintage package. The soft cheese knife is part of the cylindrical table collection designed in 1973 by Franco Bettonica - studio OPI milano - for Cini&Nils and acquired by the permanent collection of the Moma in New York. The piece for sale boasts the perfect condition of the single package, among the rarest to have arrived intact to the present day. Designed specifically for soft cheeses, this knife has many functional features. The width of the blade is designed to allow you to cut any cheese with a simple vertical pressure and to prevent the blade from sinking entirely into the shape to be cut, which also allows it to function as a serving spatula. The length of the blade allows you to easily cut even large shapes. On both surfaces of the blade, a special mesh reduces the tendency of soft cheeses to stick to it. The handle, off-center with respect to the blade, prevents fingers from hitting the tray or the surface below. Made entirely of stainless steel, the body is brushed lengthwise, while the recess, blade and terminal are mirror polished. The surface of the blade is meshed by photoengraving. The handle is 1.6 cm in diameter, the blade is 13.6 cm long, the entire knife is 13.6 cm long.
