3-door sideboard by Umberto Mascagni (50s)

Small 50s sideboard designed by Umberto Mascagni, produced in Italy and distributed by Harrods in London in the same years. An iconic piece of modernism, characterized by three doors with back-painted glass fronts: the two lateral ones depict a woman descending the stairs, while the central one depicts a glass of liqueur, in perfect décor style. The structure is in solid wood, solid and heavy, finished in cream-colored vinyl with anodized aluminum edges. The interior is covered in an elegant faux lizard skin and gray vinyl with geometric patterns. The piece of furniture is completed by a large, full-width, removable mirror, which amplifies its scenography and stage presence. The piece of furniture is in excellent vintage condition, and is ideal for refined environments, both classic and contemporary, thanks to its timeless aesthetic.
