Splendid pair of English-made velvet armchairs from the late 19th century. The armchairs have a walnut wood structure and have been upholstered with sand-colored velvet tending towards yellow ocher. Positioned on the high sides of the backrest we find two padded headrests that allow a good rest. The feet of the armchairs are supported by some wooden segments, slightly curved at the front and straight at the sides. The seat of the armchairs is enveloping and comfortable thanks also to its comfortable armrests. The English armchairs are in good condition, they have been lightly refinished and reupholstered over time, minor scratches and light wear consistent with age and use.
