Pair of black Cuboluce bedside lamps by Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi (90s)

Pair of Cuboluce bedside lamps by Cini&Nils, designed by Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi with a special matt black on glossy black checked texture. The two lamps are like new, with no defects or signs of wear because they have never been used. The special checked design is a Cini&Nils classic and the finish is essential, rigorous and refined. The Cuboluce bedside lamp was created in 1972 from an idea by Franco Bettonica – studio OPI Milano – and the series with matt black on glossy black checked finish was produced in 1995 and is no longer in production. Being two intact vintage lamps, they still have incandescent light bulbs (obviously replaceable with new generation LED bulbs) which are also so rare. Both are sold in their original packaging, in red cardboard printed in two colors, complete with bag, instruction card, all vintage.
